Do parallel universes and multiple universes exist?

Could there be another version of you? Yes, this seems impossible. But this is exactly like when Albert Einstein wrote the equation of general relativity. It showed that the world is expanding but he himself said. No, I can't believe it. But 12 years later, observations showed that the universe is expanding. And today, physicists believe that each of us has thousands of possible versions, or in other words, different copies of possible ones in other worlds.

Quantum physics calls this the multiverse.

In fact, parallel worlds, known as parallel dimension, alternate world or alternate reality, are levels of existence that exist simultaneously. That is, all space, time, matter, energy, information, physical laws and constants that describe them. And the sum of all potential parallel universes that make up reality is called the multiverse.

Fiction has long borrowed the idea of the "other world" from myth, legend, and religion. Heaven, Hell, Olympus, or Valhalla are all different "alternate worlds" from the familiar material realm. Plato pondered deeply on parallel realities and concluded that the upper reality is perfect while the earthly reality below is an imperfect shadow of the above.

To understand why there are probably countless versions of you in parallel universes, we have to start small. You must have heard the name electron. An electron is a subatomic particle with an initial charge of negative one. Electrons belong to the first generation of the lepton particle family and are generally thought to be fundamental particles because they have no known constituents or substructures. Electrons revolve around protons and neutrons, or the nucleus of an atom. And according to scientists, the space between the nucleus and the electron orbit is made up of information.  Now let's think of an electron as a very, very small sphere.

 

Wait a moment please. In fact, when I consider an electron, I do not mean this electron that revolves around the atom. Because our focus will be on a part of the nucleus of the atom.

Every object you see, whether living or inanimate, is made up of molecules, cells and atoms.

If you look inside the atoms, you will find small vibrating strings that vibrate in different patterns and cause the birth of different musical notes as well as different particles such as electrons, quarks, neutrons and photons. These are all united in a single framework that is created by this vibrating string. So now let's think of an electron as a very, very small sphere

Spheres can rotate clockwise or counterclockwise. And so can electrons. But quantum mechanics says that tiny particles like electrons have a superpower: what does that mean? This means that electrons can rotate clockwise and counterclockwise at the same time. Did you get the point? yes at the same time.

 


To understand how this works, it may help to use the example of colors: if clockwise is "white" and counterclockwise is "black", then what I am saying is that the electrons can be "grey". Obviously, this concept is confusing for most of us to understand because we've never seen anything spin in two directions at the same time. But the math says that's exactly what's happening.

According to quantum mechanics, these "gray" particles are everywhere and spin in two directions at the same time. "But stop!" You say: If the world is full of strange objects that rotate clockwise and counterclockwise at the same time, why have I never seen such an event in my entire life?

Well, that's the great question at the heart of what has come to be known as the "quantum measurement paradox." And the answer will lead us directly to the multiverse. In the picture below you can see an electron, clockwise and counterclockwise inside the Ket symbol. In quantum physics, Ket is used to specify what we are talking about. Well, we're going to show that our electron is doing two things at the same time. By adding up your two Kets using the plus sign. Let me explain this with an example.

 

Imagine you have an electron in a Ket. There is a sensor next to the electron that "clicks" if the electron rotates clockwise and does nothing if it rotates counterclockwise. If this "sensor" clicks, it sends a signal to a gun, which then fires and kills a cat in front of it. In the image above, the sensor "clicks" as the electron spins clockwise. The signal is sent to the gun. The gun fires and finally the cat dies. And in the below image, since the electron is rotating counterclockwise, the sensor is not activated, and as a result, nothing happens. Either story makes perfect sense so far.

But what if our electron starts spinning in both directions at the same time? When we draw this using a Ket, it looks like this: So now a question: when the electron starts to rotate, does the sensor click or not? According to quantum mechanics, it does both. Part of it sees a clockwise rotation and part of it sees a counter-clockwise rotation. Almost as if the sensor is split into two parts by our electron.

Then we wait for the signal to be sent from the sensor to the gun. Does the gun fire or not? The answer is the same as sensor: it does both. The gun splits in two, one version fires, and the other never fires. And you can definitely guess what will be the fate of the cat: the cat, just like the sensor and the gun, is divided into two parts: one version is killed by the gun, and the other lives on.

 

Notice that we now have two completely independent stories about the contents of the Ket: in one, the electron was clockwise, the gun fired, and the cat died. In another, the rotation was counterclockwise, the gun did not fire, and the cat survived. Both are true. None is more correct than the other. They coexist inside the box.

  • Does the electron rotate clockwise or counterclockwise? both.
  • Did the tracker click or not? both.
  • Is the cat alive or dead? both.

So, if you are asking, then why do I only see one of these, either a dead cat or a live cat. The reason is that: because you yourself are inside this Ket, not an observer outside it. And this means that you yourself are divided into two parts like an electron, a sensor, a gun and a cat. So in both cases, the experimenter sees only one outcome: the cat is alive or dead.

 


It was about 80 years ago that scientists discovered that an atom or a subatomic particle, like an electron, can be in two different places at the same time. They shot single electrons through a gap they made in a barrier onto the back plate. After firing, each electron was present at the target location and target time. But when they repeated the experiment several times, all the individual electrons drew a striped pattern. That is, the characteristics of the behavior of waves. This indicated that there was more than one copy of each fired electron on the backplane. And this means that these particles repeated themselves. So the question is: Is it not possible for the creatures formed by these particles to not repeat themselves? Now let me remind you that in the beginning there was only one sperm cell. This cell did not divide into two parts but multiplied into two. And reproduction means the act or process of copying something. one, two then four. eight, sixteen and, and, and You exist now.

  At the time, they announced that the universe was governed by a madhouse of physical laws called quantum mechanics.

 

So given these interpretations, versions of you might have different possible lives that you could have had if you had made different decisions. However, the only reality that is comprehensible to you now is the reality in which you live. But if you are one of those who crave to travel between worlds and see yourself, unfortunately, scientists do not think that it is physically possible to travel between worlds, at least for now. Yes, physically, because this will be possible with astral projection

Let's get out of the solar system. There are hundreds of billions of stars in our galaxy, almost all of which have at least one planet orbiting them. And our solar system revolves around the galaxy every 200 million years. Next to our galaxy is the Andromeda galaxy, which will collide with our galaxy in a few billion years. And as seen in the Hubble Deep Field images, there are thousands of other galaxies like our galaxy. Laniakea means infinite heaven, a supercluster of galaxies, of which the Milky Way is one of hundreds of thousands of galaxies. And the cosmic web that consists of billions and billions of galaxies. And finally, the universe is nothing but electromagnetic waves. But that's not all of existence because there are billions of billions of similar universes out there. which reproduce exactly like human cells.
